Ivan Minić

I founded Burek.com (2002), MojaPijaca.rs (2016), TurnKey (2016), Pojacalo (2018), Burgos (2019), Alfa Prevod (2021), DigiTalk (2021), and I have joined the team of Kliker IT center for kids (2024).

For twenty years now, I have been oscillating between marketing technology and entrepreneurship. I have advised the biggest global brands when it comes to digital presence in the local market. Today, I still advise some global, but also many local companies – both small and large.

In the past few years, I worked as a consultant, educator and expert on numerous EU projects and collaborated with USAID, UNDP, Thomson Foundation, OSCE, UNICEF, World Bank and other donors.

Biography:

I started my professional career in 2000, and in 2002 I founded Burek.com, the largest internet community in this region with more than 2,200,000 members, and the game of knowledge and strategy Conquiztador. I sold a share in the company to investors from Hungary when I was just 23 years old and received the first investment for an online project aimed at the local market in this region.

As a designer, developer and project manager, I worked on more than 350 projects for clients from 28 countries, in the last few years as part of Simplicity.rs. As a consultant in the field of internet marketing, I have collaborated with more than 50 of the world’s most famous brands regarding their presence on the local market. In cooperation with Telenor Serbia, designed and launched MojaFirma.rs.

I have organized and co-organized many professional gatherings since 2002, including Blogomania ’13, which gathered more than 1000 people from the region around the topic of electronic business and digital marketing on Kopaonik. He has lectured at more than 150 events on the topics of entrepreneurship, marketing and business development and self-employment.

I wrote a blog ForTheWin on the aforementioned topics, and it was repeatedly declared one of the best in the region. I occasionally write for Netokracija, Sportske.net, BeforeAfter, JužneVesti, and occasionally as a photographer and videographer I illustrated sports stories of the local publication Vice and was an associate of SportKlub.

Since September 2015, I have been elected Deputy President of the Conference of Co-Founders Register of the National Internet Domain of Serbia and since 2019 a member of the Foundation’s Board of Governors, of which I have been the president since February 2021. I was re-elected in February 2022 to a new term of the Board of Governors, and I again perform the function of president.

In June 2016, I launched the service MojaPijaca.rs with my partners. In December 2016, I chaired the expert jury of the Serbian IAB MIXX awards, the local edition of the only global competition which is 100% – digital.

From February 2017 to 2020, I taught at Faculty of Media and Communications subject Digital project management.

Since January 2019, I edit and run the podcast Pojačalo and open Burgos – premium burger bar in Belgrade.

In September 2019, I finally graduated engineering management at School of Engineering management.

In January 2021, I started a translation agency Alfa Prevod in New Belgrade.

From March 2021, I host the official podcast KK Crvena Zvezda – Pick ‘N ‘ Talk with Milan Dozet, and with Vlada Kovač and Vitomir Ognjanović I am starting a community and a podcast DigiTalk.rs .

In March 2022, I wrote the book “Not really an easy going, but a very good man“. The print version is available at many local bookshops, and the electronic version at Kobo.com .

In April 2022, I organized with my partners the first big DigiTalk conference in Zrenjanin, and then and the next one in October in Nis.

Since May 2023, I edit and manage the project Naša mreža, a portal for support and education of entrepreneurs launched by the company A1 Serbia.

Since November 2023, I edit and run the podcast Egzaktno with colleagues from Egzakta Advisory.

In march 2024. I wrote my second book “Čudan” (Awkward).

In september 2024. I became a co-owner and creative director of Kliker IT Center for kids.
